Old Bridge Farm Woodworks
General Information
Old Bridge Farm Woodworks officially began in 2011 but the building process and design came long before then! What started as a dream and hobby, led to a fairly lucrative business opportunity. The owner and founder, Bill Lauer, began designing and building these one-of-a-kind Adirondack chairs in 1998 and through years of practicing the art, he has designed a chair to fit your dreams. In addition to the Adirondack Furniture, Old Bridge Farm makes a variety of other products including bird houses, nesting boxes, bird feeders, cutting boards, wooden pens, birch reindeer, wooden boats, custom wood-burned signs, and so much more!
Every item we sell is 100% handmade and attention to detail is a critical part of the building process. We take pride in our craftsmanship, and we firmly believe that all customers should have a right to quality and affordable merchandise. |
"You really have to sit in these chairs to appreciate how comfortable a handmade wooden chair can be! These chairs are built to be family heirlooms!" - Bill Lauer

Adirondack Chairs and Outdoor Furniture
Overview
Old Bridge Farm Adirondack Furniture is truly one of a kind! Available in both pine and cedar options, each product we sell is completely unique and handmade from start to finish. Almost every chair made in this shop, with the exception of the rocker, folding chair, and the custom chair, has a wide contoured seat and tall back. This design fits uniformly to the shape of your body, making it a very comfortable option for most. It's hard to beat our prices for what you get in return. If properly cared for, our furniture can be passed down from generation to generation.
In order for outdoor furniture to last, it has to be built with durable materials and the right processes. Every chair we make is glued and screwed with extreme rust resistant hardware, making it last nearly decades in the elements. Above all, our furniture is comfortable, unique, visually appealing, and most importantly; built to last! The vast majority of our outdoor products are built using 5/4" thick locally sourced pine boards. These rustic boards are eventually cut into chair parts which are then individually sanded and rounded at the edges. The result? A vintage yet clean appearance that adds to the already aesthetically pleasing design. To increase the longevity of your outdoor furniture, we recommend coating them with a protective outdoor finish. We can do this for you for a small additional fee!

"I have been making these chairs since 1998. Since that time, I have modified the original design on several occasions. What has in fact developed over time is perhaps the perfect Adirondack chair." -Bill Lauer
